Our hardest match: The WIPO will decide this weekend

Donnerstag, den 28. August 2008

This weekend will show if our brave project www.mlpwatchblog.com will survive the attacks of a nasty firm from Wiesloch, Germany. The Wiesholes want to steal us our domain name.
Their lawyer told to the WIPO that the Germans are too dumb toknow the term ‘watchblog’. According to her ‘mlpwatchblog’ could be confused with a blog of […]

MLP’s pseudo-independence

Freitag, den 22. August 2008

Today Financial Times Germany found hard words for MLP’s freaked out backfire: The poisoned pills of Uwe that should outdo AWD and Swiss Life (an idea by Goldman Sachs) won’t change the fact that the ‘independend’ days are over.
We should add that there never was a real independence, was it?

The slide of MLP

Sonntag, den 17. August 2008

Until today the hardest article on MLP was Die Legende von Heidelberg by Berliner Zeitung.
This weekend FAZ offered a good warning, we wrote about it.
But the best article on the Wiesholes ever is the new one by Herbert Fromme, Financial Times Germany:
Die Talfahrt von MLP (The slide of MLP)
It starts with the story of the […]

Meet the press

Freitag, den 15. August 2008

What the Germans say about Maschmeyer’s undercover operation:
Germany’s best informed newsman in insurance business is Herbert Fromme from Financial Times Germany. As always he was the first who knew about Maschmeyer’s unexpectable scam. On Wednesday he wrote:
MLP - keine guten Gründe gegen Übernahme
by Herbert Fromme, Financial Times Germany
He was right:
Maschmeyer kapert Rivalen MLP
by Herbert Fromme, […]

Bernd Katzenstein undercover

Dienstag, den 5. August 2008

Bernd Katzenstein (”Catstone”) is a really bad covered lobbyist. He runs a pr-operation called Deutsches Institut für Altersvorsorge (German institute for old-age-provisions). This is a faked institute to launch distrust and anguish to deliver firms like MLP awed customers which are easy to form.
Accidentally Mr Katzenstein used to be the headwriter of MLP’s client’s magazin […]

Mrs Nanda strikes back

Montag, den 4. August 2008

Dear Sirs,
we decided one single decider should be acceptable.
The panel will decide to reject the Complain.
Yes, we are critical.
No, we never took our domain name to confuse anybody. We mark ourselves as watchbloggers to avoid any confusion. Our website never allowed any confusion.
Of course not we did this in a bad faith.
1. Whatsoever, the word […]

Wait a moment, Mrs Nanda!

Sonntag, den 27. Juli 2008

The Wieshole’s new lawyer, Mrs Malini Nanda, should take notice of the following addition to our first statement:
On page 5 the Complainant claims that “the MLP consultants and their clients develop individual customer solutions (…)” This is a bold lie. They “develop” nothing. The Complainant is a distributor of standard products. May its salesmen act […]

MLP attacks www.mlpwatchblog.com

Donnerstag, den 3. Juli 2008

For the first time MLP shows its fear: MLP complained at World Intellectual Property Organisation against us. They claim that we make use of their trademark MLP in our domain name. They will make WIPO believe that the Germans are not able to understand the term ‘watchblog’ …
So we are confused why somebody should search […]

Let’s talk about percentage!

Mittwoch, den 2. Juli 2008

Since 1st of July the German door-to-door-salesmen have to reveal their percentage - as we have reported they don’t have to tell the whole story because ’strukkibuden’ like MLP have a lot of hidden ways to get money from the insurance companies, e.g. owing shares of these companies.
One of Germany’s most distinguished writer on insurance […]

How MLP bullshits the Germans in the internet

Sonntag, den 29. Juni 2008

The cheaters of MLP often try their luck in the internet. This is no news to our readers.
One of their silly scams is to screw maybe-customers with faked retirement pay calculators. With the online tool Rentenrechner you can suggest yourself that you will face a gap in your retirement pay - the friendly Wiesholes offer […]
