Heidelberger Leben is dead - R.I.P.

Those fools who trusted in Heidelberger Leben formally known as MLP Lebensversicherung AG and located in the former MLP-tower face these days a hard surprise:
Obviously the insurance company is out of money: Nobody answers phone calls, emails or faxes. The shop seems to be dead.

There is a good reason for this: After Termuehlen’s dubious business with MLP Leben-shares the insurance company was sold to HBOS, the Halifax Bank of Scotland. These guys - owned by Lloyds now - have some problems: toxic papers “worth” billions.
Maybe the Wieshole’s advice to join these company was not so clever.
If Heidelberger Leben files bancruptcy it would be a stylish finish for the lousy company: The gullible belief in MLP Leben-project played a major role in the big scandal of MLP in 2002 which ended in a record of burned money.
